Dingo

Jazz great Miles Davis’s only starring feature film role was in this very early film from Rolf de Heer, who would go on to direct everything from Bad Boy Bubby to Charlie’s Country. Davis plays a legendary trumpeter whose brief, unexpected Outback appearance changes the life of John ‘Dingo’ Anderson (Colin Friels). Davis and Michel Legrand composed the soundtrack.
