All We Imagine as Light

Documentary-maker Payal Kapadia’s first feature drama was acclaimed at film festivals around the world for its beautiful, universally relatable capturing of hopes, dreams, love found and love lost — i.e. what it is to be human — through the lives of nurses who have come from small towns to Mumbai, where privacy is a luxury and loneliness is found throughout the relentlessly crowded metropolis.
