About the IFS

Established in 2012, the Illawarra Film Society (IFS) is a not-for-profit organisation which hosted more than 500 members in 2023. We are one of the largest film societies in Australia!

We screen a diverse range of films at the Gala Cinema, Warrawong, every Sunday. Our programme includes recent independent Australian and international features and documentaries, short films, and a selection of modern classics. The IFS is a member of the Australian Film Societies Federation.
